Rod width and wall clearance

Sam is 170 cm wide, David is 110 cm, and Leander is 92 cm. For these models, the specified total depth is approximately 30 cm; this is not automatically the exact measurement from the wall to the center of the rod. Measure using your own hangers and garments.

Determining wall clearance with your hangers

Measure from the center of the hanger hook to the outer edge of the hanger on the wall side. Drape a typical garment over it and account for its additional thickness as well as some clearance from the wall. This measurement represents the required distance to the center of the rod. Compare it with the drawing of the chosen model; the specified total depth may include the mount and pipe diameter. Before installation, also check for long clothing and the space required for hanging and removing items.

Wall or ceiling?

Fenton offers a different design for intended wall or ceiling mounting. Check the selected size, mounting orientation, and instructions. Wall mounting does not automatically mean that a rod is also suitable for the ceiling.

Consider surface and load
